Why Congresbury chooses us

The Congresbury clearance crew that knows every lane in North Somerset

Our Congresbury round takes in Brinsea, Iwood, Wrington and Cleeve and everything within a few minutes of the River Yeo bridge. With village cottages and paddock properties with stables and barns, the A370 through the village leaves little room to park a skip.

The jobs we are asked for most around the River Yeo bridge are stable and paddock clear-ups, green waste and household clearances. Everything is loaded by hand by a two-man crew, and we reach Station Road and Broad Street on the same round, so nothing has to be dragged to the kerb before we arrive. See what we clear in Congresbury or read the Congresbury FAQs.

Fixed prices from £99.99, licensed disposal, and a transfer note emailed after every BS49 job so your waste can never be fly-tipped in your name. Get a price online, call 07399 884635 or message us on WhatsApp across North Somerset. We also cover Weston-super-Mare, Portishead and Clevedon, all within a short run of Congresbury.

✓Same-week collection slots across BS49 postcodes
✓No council tip queues, no permits, no skip hire fees
✓Fixed all-in price — labour, disposal and certificate included
✓Up to 92% of everything we collect recycled

"Booked at 9am, sofa and a pile of boxes gone by lunch. Lads were polite and the price was exactly what the site said."

Case studies

Two Congresbury clearances, start to finish

Cleeve, Congresbury · Small load

Rubbish removal in Congresbury: garage and shed strip-out, Cleeve

Decades of paint tins, timber offcuts, bikes and an old mower out of a Cleeve garage, close enough to the River Yeo bridge to fit on an existing round.

The challenge: Half the contents were hazardous — paint, oil and gas bottles — which a skip firm won't take and the tip queues you up for.
What we did: Separated on site, hazardous items routed to the right licensed disposal route, scrap metal pulled out for recycling and the usable tools left to one side for the owner.
The result: £149.99, done in an afternoon, with paperwork proving where every stream went.

Wrington, Congresbury · X large load

House clearance in Congresbury: a full three-bed on Wrington

A family selling up in Wrington needed the whole property emptied before completion — the sort of Congresbury house clearance we book most weeks, covering village cottages.

The challenge: Wrington has the A370 through the village leaves little room to park a skip, so the usual skip-on-the-drive approach was out, and the loft and garage had thirty years in them.
What we did: Two crew, room by room, everything carried out by hand and sorted on the van: reusable furniture set aside for local charity, metal and green waste split for recycling, the rest taken to a licensed BS49 transfer station.
The result: Cleared and swept in a day for a fixed £399.99, with the waste transfer note emailed before the crew left Wrington.

Waste collection in Congresbury: your questions answered

Do you take garden waste in Congresbury?

We do. Green waste from Congresbury gardens is collected and recycled locally, whether it's a hedge cut, a tree job or a full garden overhaul.

How are Congresbury rubbish removal prices worked out?

Prices in Congresbury go by load size, not by the hour: £99.99 for a mini load (about 8 bin bags), £199.99 for a medium load and £499.99 for our largest. Labour, disposal and your waste transfer certificate are included.

What should a full house clearance in Congresbury cost?

It depends on how much is going, but £269.99–£499.99 covers most Congresbury properties. Bereavement, downsizing and landlord clearances are all quoted up front, with nothing added afterwards.

Can you do same day rubbish removal in Congresbury?

We're in North Somerset every week, so Congresbury bookings are usually 2–4 days out — and same-day is worth asking about, especially mid-week.

Why use your service instead of a skip in Congresbury?

A man and van works out cheaper on most Congresbury jobs. A skip means hire fees, possibly a council permit, and you loading it yourself. Here it matters more than usual because the A370 through the village leaves little room to park a skip.

Can you collect a single sofa or mattress in Congresbury?

Just point at it. Single items are our most common Congresbury booking, and we remove them from any floor of the property.

Which parts of Congresbury do you cover?

All of it. We collect from Brinsea, Iwood, Wrington, Cleeve, Station Road, Broad Street and every street in BS49 — houses, flats, farms, driveways and rear access. Everything is loaded by hand, so no skip and no permit is needed.

Do I need to be there when you collect in Congresbury?

Only if you want to be. Where the A370 through the village leaves little room to park a skip, it sometimes helps to have someone point out access, but it isn't required.

Do you clear commercial and builders waste in Congresbury?

We do. Congresbury builders, landlords and shops use us for rubble, timber, plasterboard and site waste, and we can work early or late.

What can't you take away?

We can't remove asbestos, caravans or hazardous chemicals. Everything else — fridges, mattresses, electricals, paint-free timber — goes to a licensed facility, with up to 92% recycled.

Are you a licensed waste carrier in Congresbury?

Yes. We're a registered waste carrier with £10m public liability insurance, and every Congresbury collection comes with a waste transfer note so your rubbish can't be fly-tipped in your name.
