A dead washing machine weighs the best part of 70kg and sits exactly where you need to stand. We collect white goods from the kitchen or utility, wheel them out on a sack truck and take them for WEEE recycling — the legal route for anything with a plug.
We can pull an appliance out from under a worktop and disconnect where it's a simple plug and hose. Anything hard-wired or on a gas supply needs a qualified disconnection first, and we'll say so rather than risk it.
